Fox Insurance Company Partners with Senior Financial Solutions (SFS) for EGWP Marketing to Employer Groups and Unions

Fox Insurance Company (the Company), a New York-based Medicare Part D provider announced today that it has contracted with Senior Financial Solutions (SFS) to provide sales support for their new EGWP product (employer & union sponsored retiree benefits). This new alliance will provide Fox Insurance Company with additional independent representatives who will market Fox’s products in all states where Fox is licensed to provide these services.

“We are excited by the prospect of partnering with SFS for marketing of our EGWP program, ” said Anthony Arloro, Senior Vice President of Fox Insurance Company. “Our agreement with SFS continues to demonstrate execution on our business strategy, which relies on maintaining our internal operation focused on the clinical & customer service needs of our beneficiaries, and outsourcing non-product centric services when appropriate. This lucrative alliance is monumental to Fox, because it allows us to focus on our core products while outsourcing our promotional needs.

Fox’s EGWP program provides significant advantages to the wide spectrum of US business entities, including sizeable cost savings to employers on drug spend (up to 35 percent), while shifting all administrative, compliance, & financial risk from the employer or union to Fox, with minimal disruption to the membership (e.g., the employer’s current prescription drug plan design can usually be maintained).

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Fox Insurance Company to provide marketing services for their EGWP offerings,” said Mike Rose, one of the operating partners of SFS. “We regard the EGWP product as addressing the needs of both the insurers and the beneficiaries in a cost-effective manner while providing the level of service that a more expensive group of products may not even provide..”

Employer Group Waiver Plans are offered by Medicare Part D providers to employer or union sponsored group members where the employer or union does not deal directly with the Center for Medicare Services (CMS). Instead, the Part D provider contracts with the Employer & Union Group to oversee their retiree benefits for the employer on CMS’ behalf. In this case, the third party Part D provider receives the direct subsidies, low income subsidies, and reinsurance payments for the employer’s approved beneficiaries and disburses them as appropriate.

Fox Insurance Company is an “800 Series” EGWP provider licensed to practice in 39 States & the District of Columbia.
